Biography

Mr. Tarik Aziz is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sylhet-3114, Bangladesh. The first of its kind and one of the top-ranked public universities of Bangladesh.
Prior to that, Mr. Tarik worked as a Bangladeshi Students Delegate at the Exposure Visit-cum-Training Programme by Centre for National and International Collaboration (CNIC), CIRDAP, and Rajib Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) in Chennai, India. He obtained his MSS and BSS degree in Economics (with Distinction) from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST). He has worked on several research projects and published a research article on Banking sector development and Economic growth. Mr. Tarik taught Macroeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Banking and Finance, and Political Economy from 2019 to date. Currently, he is doing research on Health Economics, ICT, Growth, and Energy Economics. Also intended to investigate Pandemic impacts on the labor market and Public health.
