Biography
Mohammad Rafiqul Islam was born November 30, 1985 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is Assistant Professor of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Mohammad Rafiqul Islam did his B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) and has completed his Masters in Civil Engineering (Structural) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has professional experience for 2 months as a research assistant in the field of Earthquake Engineering and five years teaching experience in private University of Bangladesh. Now, he is doing his PhD in the Laboratory of Structural Engineering under the Division of Architectural and Structural Design (ASD), Graduate School of Engineering of Hokkaido University, Japan. He is MEXT scholarship recipient in October 2020 to pursue his PhD study.
