Biography

 Md. Yousuf Ali was born and raised in Sylhet, more exactly Gowainghat, Barhal (Khas Mouja). He received his early education from local educational institutions. He then completed his BA (Honours) and MA in English Literature from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Before joining as a Lecturer in the Department of English, SUST, Sylhet on 15 June, 2025, he belonged to Bangladesh Civil Service (General Education) Cadre through 41st BCS Exam and worked as a Lecturer in the Department of English at Brindaban Govt. College, Habiganj.

  • On September 20, 2021, joined the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangladesh, 38th BCS (Non-Cadre and 9th Grade) and worked as an Instructor (English) at Sunamganj Govt. Technical School and College, Sunamganj upto April 27, 2024
  • On April 28, 2024, joined BCS (General Education) Cadre, 41st BCS and worked as a Lecturer in the Department of English at Brindaban Govt. College, Habiganj upto June 14, 2025
