INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES OF SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION AND PROFESSION IN SOUTH ASIA

The aims of this symposium are to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration among social work professionals, educators, students, and researchers across the region. It will create an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and cooperation between the professional organizations and social work education institutions. The symposium will be a platform for participants to share their research findings, innovative interventions, and social work approaches from different contexts within Asia. The symposium will also create an opportunity to analyze prospects and challenges of social work education and profession in the era of global cooperation and ever-changing social, cultural, and political contexts. Finally, the symposium will find ways for sustainable social work interventions in addressing social issues and promoting human well-being.
