15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad 2026 Held at SUST

The Department of Chemistry, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), successfully hosted the 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad 2026, bringing together young and talented chemistry enthusiasts in a competitive and inspiring environment. Around 150 students took part in a one-hour written examination, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning and curiosity.

The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Siddiquey, Head of the Department of Chemistry, SUST. Professor Dr. Nizam Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Sunamganj University of Science and Technology, attended as the Chief Guest, while Professor Dr. Ashraful Alam, Vice Chancellor of Sylhet International University, joined as the Special Guest. Several respected faculty members also attended and encouraged the participants.

The top five winners were Aninda Modak, Fahmida Akter Sume, Ajwad Noor Mohammad Shafi, Bidipta Bhowmik Bipasha, and Shahadat Hossen. The organizers congratulated the winners and appreciated all participants for their enthusiasm.

The event concluded successfully with special thanks to the volunteers for their dedicated efforts in organizing the program.
