Biography
Mohammad M. H. Raihan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology in Bangladesh, currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Community Health Sciences at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. With a strong academic background—including a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Social Science from Shahjalal University—his research focuses on primary healthcare access barriers and the social determinants of health among immigrant communities. He employs community-based participatory research approaches, integrated knowledge translation, and patient-oriented research strategies in his work. Mohammad has been contributing to the field through peer-reviewed publications, collaborative research projects, and community-engaged initiatives, alongside extensive teaching and research experience.
