Biography
Al Amin Rabby is a professor of Sociology at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. His scholarly pursuits centre on labour regime, labour process, International migration, and migrant labour, specifically emphasising Bangladeshi migrants residing in Italy and beyond.
His PhD thesis title is "Crafting the Steel: Labour Regime of the Bangladeshi Workers at Italian Fincantieri Shipyards" under the program of Social Sciences: Interactions, Communication, Cultural Constructions at the University of Padova, Italy. The title of Dottore di Ricerca (Ph.D) cum laude was awarded on 11/04/2024.
