Active Research Project

  • Assessment of Microplastic Contamination in the Guts and Tissues of Northern Mauxia Shrimp (Acetes chinensis).
  • Screening of the antioxidant properties and antibacterial activities of Sea anemone isolated from the coastal areas of Bangladesh.
  • Microplastic Ingestion by Zooplankton in the Eastern Bay of Bengal.
  • Identifying and Characterizing Microplastic Pervasiveness in the Northern coast of the Bay of Bengal
  • Microplastic determination and identification in different crab species in Bangladesh.

Previous Research Project

  • Abundance and characteristics of microplastics in commercial marine fishes of northeastern Bay of Bengal (Funded by: University Research Center, SUST).
