Biography

Dr Mossamet Kamrun Nesa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. She started her career as a Lecturer in the same department in October 2009 and promoted as an assistant professor in June 2012. She completed a PhD in Statistics from the University of Wollongong, Australia in 2018. Mossamet’s thesis on Multivariate Small Area Estimation for Health Indicators and was supervised by Associate Professor Robert Clark and Dr. Carole. L. Birrell at University of Wollongong, Australia. Mossamet has published a number of scientific articles in well-known nationals and international journals and attended many national and international conferences. She obtained a two-year research grants from the research center of SUST.
