Biography

Khurshida Begum was born in 1969 in Rajshahi City, Bangladesh. Her father was a Professor of Rajshahi College and her mother was a housewife. She had S.S.C. degree from Govt. PN Girls’ High School in 1984 with First Division, star marks. She had her H.S.C. degree from Rajshahi College, Rajshahi in 1986 with First Division, star marks. Got B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Physics from Rajshahi University with First Class First Position in 1989. She completed her M.Sc. in Physics (Thesis group) from Rajshahi University with First Class Third Position in 1990. After passing M.Sc. she joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet in 1996. Received Ph.D degree from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet in 2015.
