Biography

Dr. Mohammad Abdullah-Al-Shoeb is now working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Dr. Shoeb joined as a lecturer in 2011 from the very beginning of this department. From February 2013 to April 2021, Dr. Shoeb worked as an Assistant Professor at the same Department.
Dr. Shoeb had completed his M.S. and B.Sc. from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in the years 2008 and 2007, respectively. He was completed his PhD. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kumamoto University Japan in 2020 under the supervision of Professor Tetsumi Irie, Department of Clinical Chemistry and Informatics. Program for Leading Graduate Schools, Health Life science: Interdisciplinary and Glocal Oriented (HIGO Program) of Kumamoto University supported Mr. Shoeb during his doctoral research. During his doctoral research, he worked on the protective effect of Mito-TEMPO against the acute hepatotoxicity model induced by the overdosage of acetaminophen in both mice and human models. He also got two research grants from HIGO Program Research Grant for Graduate Students (The fiscal year 2019 and the Fiscal year 2017) from Kumamoto University, Japan.
