Biography

Dr. Mst. Nasima Bagum is a Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. She completed her PhD in Engineering focused on Advanced Machining of difficult to cut materials, from International Islamic University, Malaysia. During her PhD, she accomplished two international projects under Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. She received her M.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Her MSc research concentrates on multi-attribute decision analysis regarding renewable energy adaptation.
She has published articles in various national and international journals both in the field of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, e.g., International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Arabian Journal of Science and Engineering, International Polymer Processing, Key Engineering Materials, International Journal of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Jordan Journal of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, The International Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Learning; International Journal of Industrial and Systems Engineering, ARPN Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Review of General Management, International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research, Journal of Engineering and Technology etc. Her research has been presented in quite a number of international conferences, such as proceedings of International Conference on Advances in Manufacturing & Materials Engineering, International Conference on Science & Engineering of Materials, Machine Intelligence and Emerging Technologies etc.
Her research interests include Manufacturing (Conventional and Advanced); Operations management, particularly on multi-criteria decision analysis; Operations Research; Simulation.
