Biography

Shilpy Rani Basak was born in 1983 in Natore, Bangladesh. Her school and college level was in Dhaka. After that, she completed her B.Sc. Engineering from SUST, Sylhet. Shilpy Rani Basak did her M.Sc. Engg. in Environmental Engineering from BUET, Dhaka. Currently, she is serving as an Associate professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, SUST, Sylhet. Besides teaching, she actively works on some research projects and supervises undergraduate research students. Her research work is mainly focused on the field of Anaerobic digestion (AD) system for the management of hazardous solid waste.
