Biography

Shubhajit Chowdhury joined as a lecturer in 2009 and at present working as an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture, Shahjalal university of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Chowdhury worked in a team of architects that won the 1st prize of national competition (2006) for ‘A Prototype Building of Tourist Information and Support Center’ as the Nishorgo (unbound nature) Support Project of Forest Ministry, Government Of Bangladesh and financed by US AID. He won the design competition (2014) of the Central Martyr Monument and Archive of Sylhet city and this is appreciated by the every level of the inhabitants.

Education

  • B Arch degree from the Discipline of Architecture, Khulna University, Bangladesh and the topic of his B Arch thesis project (By Design) was „The Prototypes Buildings for Shilpakala(Creative Art) Academy Complex of District Level towns in Bangladesh‟.
