Biography

Mohammad Shamsul Arefin has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (www.sust.edu) in Bangladesh. He joined as a Lecturer here in 2009. He also served as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Architecture at Leading University (www.lus.ac.bd) in Bangladesh from 2012 to 2018. Mr. Arefin did his Master Degree in Landscape Architecture (MLA) from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Bachelor Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from Khulna University in Bangladesh. He has research interests in the field of Community Landscape and Conservation, Urban and Rural Housing, and Architectural Theory and Criticism. He has a one-year of professional working experience in Landscape Architecture in Germany.
