PhD in the field of biochemistry and biotechnology Completed in September 2015 from nutrient sensing lab (headed by Professor Steffen Abel) at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biocemistry (IPB), Martin Luther University, Halle, Germany. Title of PhD thesis: Molecular Identification and Characterization of the phosphate deficiency response related genes, PRT1 (ATP-Phosphoribosyl Transferase 1) and ALMT1 (Aluminium-Activated Malate Transporter 1).
Research Fellow at the Maxplanck Institute for Plant breeding research, Cologne, Germany. Working title: Finding novel genes involved in repair of DNA cross-links using Arabidopsis thaliana natural variation
