Biography
Sabina Yasmin completed her graduation and post-graduation in 2011 and 2015 respectively. She joined the department of Public Administration, Shahjalal University of Science&Technology, Bangladesh in 2017. Since then she has been serving the department andher present position is Assistant Professor. Her research interests include: e-Governance,local government, good governance, financial management, health service delivery system, educational research and development etc. She conducts research applying both qualitative and quantitative methods. She is interested to examine how much participatory budgeting system is effective at rural-local level in Bangladesh. Sheteaches courses on e-governance and innovations in public administration, introduction to social research, industrial and labor relations management, environmental management, emerging issues in governance in Bangladesh, professionalism and ethics in public administration. She has presented two papers on international conferences and also has several publications in the indexed journals. She supervises seminar, research monograph of undergraduate and graduate students. Along with academic research supervision, she has already carried out several research projects funded by the SUST Research Center, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet 3114, Bangladesh.
