Biography

Md. Jakir Hosain is a lecturer of Dept. of Bangla at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He was born in 1993 in the village of Chandrahar, under Gournadi Upazila, in the district of Barishal. His father was the Freedoom Fighter K. M. Moazzem Hossain, and his mother is Manoara. He completed an M.Phil from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology on the plays of Syed Shamsul Haque. His dissertation was titled “Syed Shamsul Haque's drama : Trend and CompositionÓ(সৈয়দ শামসুল হকের নাটক : প্রবণতা ও গঠনশৈলী). Currently, he is doing PhD research at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, on Hasan Azizul Haque's Essay Literature. The number of his research articles is about 09. In the meantime, his research articles have been published in the journals of Folklore Journal of Rajshahi University, SUST Journal of Social Sciences of Shahajalal University, Bhasha-shahitya Path (A Peer Reviewed journal), Department of Bangla, SUST, Journal of History & Civilization, Department of Islamic History & Culture, JU,  Lokoswar (A Peer Reviewed Journal), West Bengal, India, and the refereed Journals at home and abroad.
