Biography
Professor Dr Md Shafiqul Islam is a senior faculty member in the department of Public Administration.Dr Islam completed his BSS (Hon’s) and MSS in Public Administration, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr Islam did his M.Phil in Public Administration from University of Bergen, Norway. He also completed MA (research) and Ph.D from Flinders University, South Australia. He has contributed a significant number of research articles in national and international peer reviewed journals. Dr Islam has gained experience in presenting research findings to various international conferences in country and abroad and also published his research findings in the conference proceedings. He has also experience in supervising Honours and Maters thesis students in different semesters in the department of Public Administration, SUST. Dr Islam completed several research projects funded by university, government and non-government organizations. Prof Islam has gained administrative experience through performing various duties in university administration.
