Biography

Md Javed Foysal was born in a small village of Bogra named Polashi on 26 October 1986. He is the only son of Md Ferdous Rahman and Mrs Delowara and having three sisters. After receiving his primary and secondary education from local Shaol Bi-lateral School, Bogra, he then completed his Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) in 2004 from Santahar Govt. College, Bogra. Later, he got the chance of admission in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, SUST, Sylhet-3114. His efforts helped him to acquire the top position in the respective Department as well as in the Faculty of Life Sciences. After completion of his bachelor and master degree, he started his career with the position “Research Officer” in the “Virology Laboratory” of International Centre for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) in 2012. After two years and eight months service at icddr,b, he joined as a faculty in his own Department on 14 June 2015.
