Biography
Dr. Md Monir Hossain was born on 18 September 1986 in Comilla, Bangladesh. He graduated from Food Engineering and Tea Technology in 2010 (with distinction) from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He was awarded the Prime Minister Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance upon graduation. In 2014, he obtained his Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has been supporting and counseling different societies and clubs, such as the SUST Debating Society, SUST Speakers Club, and the Society of Food Engineering and Tea Technology since his joining SUST. He served as a lecturer in the Department of Food Engineering and Tea Technology at SUST from 18 October 2011 to 17 October 2013. He obtained his PhD in Industrial and System Engineering from Auburn University (USA).
