Biography

Md. Gias Uddin Khan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He obtained his Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S.) and Master of Social Science (M.S.S.) with distinction in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Mr. Khan also received his second master’s degree from the University of Arkansas, USA, as a Fulbright Scholar under the Fulbright Foreign Student Program awarded by the United States Department of State. His research interests include development economics, health economics, and international trade.
