Biography
My previous educational background, working experience, and training have honed my skill set for biofuels and biomaterials production and hazardous materials remediation. My undergraduate Chemical Engineering study in Bangladesh provided my fundamental engineering foundation which was further refined during my master’s study in the United Kingdom. My biofuels and biomaterials co-production process design and modeling skillsets were also developed during my master’s. Afterward, over a decade of working in industry and academia gave me numerous opportunities to strengthen my academic engineering and modeling skills by applying those techniques to real-life value-added product formation. During this time, I continuously shared my scientific findings and progress in peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and conferences, which have received over 300 citations cumulatively until 2024. I also actively contributed to research proposals and managed at least five grants from local and government authorities, with a total value of approximately $17,000 USD. Finally, my ongoing PhD study in Bioprocess Engineering in the USA will strengthen my abilities to further conduct biofuels and biomaterials production and hazardous materials (PFAS) related activities independently in an economic and environmentally sustainable manner.
