Biography
Zafrul has received his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences and the focus was on Anti-HIV immunity from Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan. He has completed several postdoctoral training in Japan and Singapore. The postdoctoral research focus was on Alzheimer's, Autoimmunity, and Lipid Transporters in targeted transgenic and knockout mice models. Zafrul completed his master’s and bachelor’s degree in the “Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology” at the University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh. After his master’s, he worked as a Research Officer in Virology Laboratory, icddr,b, Dhaka. Nowadays Dr. Zafrul serves the BMB department at SUST as a faculty member with others. Exploring new places, and new cultures, making friends, driving, watching movies, and taking challenges are the few things Zafrul likes most.
