Biography

Dr. Ali is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He joined the department as a Lecturer in 2017. He was a doctoral student at Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors, Dortmund, Germany, and received his Ph.D. in Natural Sciences in 2016 from TU Dortmund University, Germany. Later, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, UK. He also worked as a Visiting Researcher at University College London, UK. Dr. Ali earned his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also served as a faculty member at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Gono University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Ali’s research focuses on Human Nutrition, Toxicology, Cancer Biomarkers, Biomarkers of Diseases, Hepatology, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, Public Health, Epidemiology and Environmental Health.
